Jewelry Care

  • Cleaning

Clean jewelry with any metal polishing cloth. If tarnish buildup is too heavy to clean with the cloth, simply mix a paste of 2tsp white vinegar + 1 tsp baking soda. Rub the paste over the metal with a cotton swab, avoiding any stones, rinse and let dry. Follow up with a good rub of a polishing cloth over the dry metal.

  • Luster

Most metal, with the exception of high karat gold, will naturally patina over time due to exposure to certain elements. While the Oxidation gives metal a unique character, you may find you want your jewelry to attain it’s brilliant luster. Prevent tarnishing by storing jewelry in a sealed bag away from moisture. Apply any cosmetics before wearing your jewelry. Try not to expose metals to chlorine pool water.

  • Wear

Zanny’ s jewelry is made to be worn and lived in. That said, adopt a practice of consciously wearing your adornments. Take care of wearing your jewelry for strenuous tasks such as working out, hiking, etc. Sweat and oils can cause a PH reaction that may tarnish the skin. This is completely harmless and washes away easily.
