Inspired by the old world “collet setting” that rose to popularity in the 1700s. I added a bit of my signature molten texture to this ring, resulting in a bespoke adornment that evokes a sense of a by gone age.
Made using traditional Georgian era goldsmithing techniques, with a 14k yellow gold molten band, with a sterling topped setting. The rose cut diamond is one of the earliest facet patterns of diamond cutting, it has a watery, mirror like sparkle; subdued, yet alluring. This ring is heirloom quality, made to last many lifetimes.
Made of 14k yellow gold & .925 sterling silver.
