Australian Opal Stud
A stunning ear adornment that looks great worn alone or in an ear stack!
Precious Opal from my Great Grandfather’s collection, set in a textured bezel, with gold box chain that can be worn two ways. Attach it to post for a front to back effect, or attach it to an adjacent piercing for a chain swoop. Threaded gold posts with screw on butterfly back and silicone stopper for comfort.
Made in solid 14k yellow gold.

Opals are hard to photograph, I’ve selected the best pieces from this collection and can assure you they have a lot of fire and color play, though it may not look like it in the pictures.
Opals require a bit more care than gemstones of a harder nature, I would suggest removing your studs before swimming. Do not expose opals to chlorine, harsh chemicals, or oils. Take care when applying cosmetics such as face oils or hairsprays. To clean, just use a gentle soap and fine bristle toothbrush.
