Beginner’s Weaving

What You'll Learn

The foundational skills to begin your weaving journey. Learn to weave a woven wall hanging on a tapestry style loom. Explore various weaving techniques and work with a variety of wool yarn weights. Zanny will be with you step by step to demonstrate and answer any questions. This class is about four hours long. Drinks and snacks are provided.

What You'll Learn

The next step in a weaver’s journey is to learn how to weave on a rigid heddle; think of it as mini floor loom. You’ll apply all the skills you learned in the Beginner’s Weaving course and learn new techniques for this specific style loom. Given the scope of the material, this class is designed to be taught one-on-one.


Stacking Rings 101

What You'll Learn

Create your own stacking ring set learning the basics of jewelry making. You will learn how to take your ring size and how to understand sizing on a ring mandrel. We’ll cover cold forming, stamping, soldering, forging, filing, and polishing. You’ll leave with a ring stack custom made to your size. This class is about three hours long. Beverages and snacks are provided.

What You'll Learn 

If you have the knowledge of basic jewelry forming, the next step is learning to set stones. In this class we’ll cover various stone types, shapes, and hardness. Learn how to measure stones and build a bezel setting using the stone of your choosing. We’ll apply these skills to learn how to make a pendant that you can wear and be proud of. This class is about three hours long. Beverages and snacks are provided.
