New Beginnings

Change is hard, but change can be good, and this May was full of change for me… I moved into a new home, moved into a new studio, and decided it’s time to finally take the leap and support myself and my family through my creative passion. I have truly been amazed at how things have unfolded :) I’ve been able to take on more custom work and my creativity has really flourished in this new time. It’s funny when we trust the calling, how the Universe shows us we are on the right path. Of course the path is not without its challenges, but I feel such a renewed sense of peace in following my passion and trusting my intuition.

New Studio

I loved my time at Canopy Art Studio and the community+friends I made along the way, but it was time for a change. I wanted a more intimate and intentional setting and found this at 2324 Art Studios+Gallery, which is managed by the wonderful team at Almost Real Things. I am still on the Eastside and in a much more vibrant part of town. There are so many wonderful places to visit just in our block alone! We have a great food truck court, full of delicious options like the Vegan Nom, and just a 5 min walk from me is my new favorite restaurant called Sweet Chive. The Pancake Sliders and the Spicy Chili Wontons are the best I’ve had since visiting Chinatown in San Francisco. Our art gallery also features rotating shows, and every Third Thursday we have Open Studios where guests can come visit and get a peek at our space+process.

I wanted to incorporate dried flowers into the decor for the new space. My friend Laura of Mountain Laurel Floral installed this beautiful floral display recenlty. It makes me so happy every time I see it!

I am sharing the space with my sweet friend Lauren Napolitano, who is an incredible muralist, tattooer, and all around badass mama. If you have seen any of my tattoos, it’s Lauren who has done them. We’ve put alot of magic and love into our studio and I hope you can feel it when you visit <3
